Reasons your truck needs truck tuning for power:

-Does your Truck have an engine light “ON’ on the dash?

-Does it Luck of Power or does it go into limp mode? Sluggish?

-Or do You simply, want more power along with lower fuel consumption?

If you answer “YES” to any of the above – please bring your truck to our workshop – located at 52 Jijaws St, Sumner Park.

Truck tuning for power, we charge only $990

You would FEEL the difference the tune makes on your truck. You should expect about 20%-30%(Conservatively speaking) more power out of your truck after we tune it. As you know – typically, we all use our vehicles to the maximum ability yet you should see the difference in the dollar amount, you spend on fuel. Your fuel cost should be less after the tune – provided you are not racing your truck 🙂

There are tuners out there who could claim that your truck can be tuned for even more power… Yet the only question we would want you, to ask is – “Would that tune be safe for my truck?” If you are after a safe, conservative tune – please call to book your truck.

Truck Tuning For Power EGR Repairs

Is truck tuning for power safe? -All our tunes are safe and conservative. The reason we don’t advertise aggressive tunes is based on the understanding of all truck engine components, for instance:

Your truck, with all original parts, can produce 20%-30% more power based on increased turbo load- meaning the truck’s engine with the power tune is provided with more fuel & air and the ECU now demands more outcome. Truck tuning for power satisfies 99% of truck owners’ “wants”.

If you want your truck to have 50% more power you need to be ready to upgrade your truck turbo, intercooler, and all exhaust restrictions should be taken care of. In our opinion, that could become too expensive without a justifiable result at the end of the exercise.

EGR Repairs – No Power – Engine Light is “ON”

If your truck has low or no power and there is an engine light “ON” on the dash of your truck – bring it to us and we will help you to find the right solution. One of the obvious reasons your truck ECU is “seeing” the EGR fault could be due to the EGR valve being open. Most likely the build-up of carbon is preventing the valve from closing. There are three options to solve the problem:

a) Manually (better) or chemically (usually much cheaper) clean intake of the engine. Check the condition of the EGR

b) Replace the EGR. This is the best option. Ideally, for any truck, we recommend a chemical intake clean every 25,000KM

c) Delete the EGR electronically, leaving all physical components of the engine untouched.

Another reason the ECU of your truck is playing up is the condition of the ECU. The ECU could be water-damaged or corroded and must inspected and fixed.

Wiring: a snapped/broken wire would either produce a shortage or “pick up” the wrong voltage as a result your truck ECU sends an engine light signal and your truck’s dash starts to look like a Xmas tree. If this is the case – bring your truck to us.

Vacuum is another big small problem. If one of your truck’ turbo hoses is leaking it would illuminate the engine light. Keep in mind, if your truck does not have enough power at all or occasionally can go into limp mode and you have to restart the truck – please bring your truck to us.

DPF Clean & Repairs

If there is an engine light “ON” on your truck dash it could be that the DPF regeneration isn’t getting complete. This is the result of a few hundred attempts by the ECU to burn the sook accumulated in the DPF. If regeneration cannot be completed the ECU of your truck commands the engine light to be turned “ON” permanently. Perhaps your truck only needs “an enforced DPF regeneration”. An enforced regeneration is a process that could be completed within 2-3 hours using a scan tool. An enforced regeneration can also be performed using chemicals to clean your truck DPF.

If however, the DPF of your truck is badly blocked and regeneration doesn’t help we can remove the DPF and clean it in a specially designed cleaner machine. Once regeneration or cleaning is completed and the truck ECU starts to register the correct pressure before & after DPF your truck is good to go.
