Every turbo job at BTT starts with the proper diagnosis. We offer a Turbo Reliability Check, which includes:

Visual inspection of the turbo + charge system

Shaft play and compressor/exhaust blade inspection

Smoke test for leaks

Boost test under load

Live-data scan (MAP, VGT position, boost pressure vs requested)

Optional dyno run for spool speed and torque delivery analysis

We’ll tell you if your turbo needs cleaning, rebuilding, or replacing — or if the issue is actually something else (like a boost solenoid, actuator, or fuel delivery fault).

Turbo Rebuilds

CHRA Replacements & Full Overhauls by Brisbane Tuning & Turbo.

Sometimes the housing is fine — it’s the core (CHRA) that’s gone. We rebuild turbochargers in-house with new cartridges, bearings, and seals and balancing procedures.

CHRA replacement includes:

New core assembly (OEM, Jrone, or high-flow options)

VNT cleaning (if applicable)

Actuator calibration and boost control setup

Oil feed and return line inspection

Dyno-tested where needed
